How it all began...

For most, 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change. For me, it was the year I started woodworking - a hobby that quickly turned into a business.

Throughout high school, I balanced academics, cross country, track, band, and other commitments, but when the pandemic hit, I suddenly had time to focus on something new. What started as a small project in my garage grew into a woodworking business, and by 2021, I was managing custom orders, creating content, and reinvesting earnings into better tools. Even while competing at the state level in cross country and track, I learned to manage my time and expand my skills.

Now, I’m attending the University of Toledo, studying Business Entrepreneurship and Marketing while running for the Men’s Cross Country Team. Beyond academics and athletics, I’ve taken on a major role in developing a makerspace for the College of Engineering - a project that involves planning, budgeting, and collaborating with university leadership. The goal is to create a space where students can bring ideas to life, work with advanced tools, and gain hands-on experience in engineering and fabrication.

At the same time, I continue growing my woodworking business, refining my skills, and expanding my brand. Whether it’s designing custom pieces, working with new materials, or learning advanced techniques, I embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow.

This journey—from building projects in my garage to leading initiatives at a university level - has reinforced my passion for entrepreneurship, design, and craftsmanship. I’m excited for what’s ahead, both in business and in my contributions to the makerspace, as I continue creating, learning, and pushing forward.
